OReNGA was established in January 2006 as a research network to coordinate and facilitate research on the politics and history of government in Africa in the colonial and post-colonial periods.
The Network's members are drawn primarily from the Department of Politics and International Relations, the Department of International Development and the Faculty of Modern History.
